Headshots in Glasgow for Business, LinkedIn and Actors
I'm Pete Copeland, a headshot photographer working from my home studio in Bishopbriggs, directly opposite the train station. Business and LinkedIn sessions are £115, actor sessions are £145, and for teams, I bring a mobile studio to your office. Sessions take 30 to 60 minutes.
Headshots That Work for Glasgow Professionals & Performers
Most people who come to me are nervous about having their photo taken, and that is completely normal. I guide you through posture, expression and positioning, so you never have to work out how to pose on your own.
I specialise in relaxed, natural headshots that still look professional and confident. My clients include business owners, executives and entrepreneurs, graduates, corporate teams, and performers from Glasgow's creative scene, including many students and staff from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
Which kind of headshot do you need?
-
If the photo is going to Spotlight, an agent, a drama school application or a casting submission, you need an actor headshot. The session runs 45 to 60 minutes, with time to warm up and change outfits, and we aim for a mix of commercial and theatrical looks so your range comes across.
-
If the photo is for LinkedIn, your CV, a company website or a press feature, you need a business or LinkedIn headshot. Sessions take 30 to 45 minutes and are efficient and relaxed, with simple direction so you do not have to worry about posing.
-
Consistent headshots for whole teams and coverage of conferences or awards nights across Glasgow. I can set up a mobile studio at your office or venue so everyone gets a professional image that matches your brand.
Half-day - £500
Full-day - £900
What to expect from your headshot session
Before the session
When you book, I send you simple advice on clothing, styling and how to prepare. If you are bringing outfits, one or two options is plenty for a business session, and three or four for an actor session. Bring anything you are unsure about, and we will decide together on the day.
During the session
I guide you through posture, expression and the tiny adjustments that make a big difference, and I show you images on the back of the camera as we go, so you can see what is working. You do not need to know how to pose. That is my job.
After the session
You receive your images as an online gallery to choose your favourites from. I retouch the ones you pick, and the retouching is clean and natural: temporary blemishes, shadows under the eyes, stray hairs, and balanced colour and contrast. I do not reshape faces or smooth skin until it looks fake, because that works against you with casting directors and on LinkedIn.
Where are you based? - My home studio is in Bishopbriggs, serving all of Glasgow
My home studio is at 1 Arnold Avenue, Bishopbriggs, G64 1PE, directly across the road from Bishopbriggs train station. Bishopbriggs sits on the northern edge of Greater Glasgow, about four miles from the city centre, and trains run to Glasgow Queen Street. There is on-street parking nearby, and I send detailed directions and arrival information in your booking email.
Why choose a Glasgow portrait photographer over an AI headshot?
AI tools can produce a polished image of a person very quickly, but the person in it is not quite you. Recruiters, clients and casting directors still want the person in the photograph to be the person who walks into the room. Real photographs also carry texture and expression that AI smooths away. A portrait photographer in Glasgow records how you actually look on a good day, which is what a headshot is for.
Recent work
I have photographed team headshots for BAM at their Kilsyth office, headshots for Carey Hughes Solicitors, including a recent set for new starters matched to the existing team, leadership headshots for Pegasus Group's new Glasgow office, and a two-day shoot for Dean's Pharmacy covering team portraits and the working pharmacy. At events, I photographed an Economist Impact panel at the Crowne Plaza Glasgow and spent a practice day inside the ropes at The Open 2025 at Royal Portrush.
About
I’m a photographer focused exclusively on one thing: creating high-quality headshots that make a strong first impression. Based in Glasgow, I work with actors, RCS students, business professionals and corporate organisations who need portraits that meet industry standards.
My work is shaped by current casting director guidance, Spotlight requirements and modern LinkedIn branding trends. This ensures the images I deliver aren’t just flattering, they’re functional. They help actors book auditions, help professionals enhance their online presence, and help companies create a cohesive, trustworthy brand identity.
Clients often tell me they were nervous before the session, but surprised by how comfortable and guided the process felt. That’s intentional, the most effective headshots come from a relaxed, collaborative environment.
If you’re preparing for the next step in your career, auditions, showcase, job interviews, LinkedIn updates or team branding, I’m here to help you create images that look like you at your best.

What clients say
Another AMAZING experience for Katie, Pete is just the best in the business, makes you feels so at ease, incredible photography, would highly recommend.
JoanneWorking with Pete was great! From end to end his services are exceptional, and the event photos came out so beautifully. Quick turn around and he just got stuck in on site with pretty minimal briefing from me! Would absolutely recommend and will definitely work with him again for our Glasgow events!
Economist ImpactI needed professional headshots taken ASAP, and Pete was a recommendation from a friend. He understood the rush I was in and booked me in for a slot quickly. Both the quality of the headshots and the turnaround time were excellent, and Pete made me feel very at ease during the shoot. Really friendly guy, would definitely recommend!

For business and LinkedIn headshots, solid colours such as navy, grey, black, cream and earth tones work best, with simple, well-fitting clothing and clean necklines. Bring one or two options.
