Kieran, a MGA Academy of Performing Arts Student, came into the home studio to update his Headshots on Spotlight. He had amazing presence in front of the camera. See some of his images below.

For most UK actors, Spotlight is where everything begins – it’s the shop window casting directors look at first. That’s why these sessions are designed with Spotlight’s guidelines and layout in mind: clean backgrounds, natural light, and honest expressions that will sit beautifully in that key headshot slot.

We usually aim for a small set of images that feel consistent but offer subtle variety: one bright and open, one more neutral and still, and one with a slightly different mood. That way, you’ve got options for your main Spotlight image and the supporting shots on your profile.

The goal is simple: when a casting director scrolls through a page of thumbnails, your face looks professional, relaxed and genuinely you – and invites them to click through and find out more.
