Anj is dipping his toe into the acting world for the very first time and wanted some professional headshots. Here are a few of the images from the shoot.

A good headshot should feel at home wherever it’s used: Spotlight, extra work, casting platforms, agent websites, theatre programmes and social media. With student and emerging actors, I always keep that in mind.

We build a small collection that includes one or two images that are slightly tighter and more traditional for Spotlight, alongside a couple that are a touch more relaxed and open for websites and marketing materials. The overall look is still cohesive – same level of polish, same truthful feel.

That way, when you’re filling out your Spotlight profile or sending materials to casting directors, you’re not trying to force one single image into every situation. Instead, you’ve got a set of photographs that work together to tell your story.
