Many of the student actors I photograph are uploading their headshots to Spotlight just as their first credits start appearing. It’s an exciting moment – and it’s worth getting right.

In these sessions, we talk about where you’re at now and where you’d like to go. Maybe you’re moving towards screen work, maybe theatre, maybe a mix of both. We aim to create a headshot that feels ready for that journey – professional and confident, without losing the freshness of someone at the start of their career.

The idea is that your Spotlight profile grows around this image: new credits, new skills, new work… but a headshot that still feels like a truthful, strong introduction to the person behind the CV.
